Exploring rural clinical placements in Indigenous contexts: new publication from NNEN colleagues

Cheetham and Norbye from the Thematic Network on Northern Nursing Education  (NNEN) present a short communication published in the Journal of Circumpolar Health exploring barriers and enablers in nursing students’ clinical placements in a rural setting with an Indigenous population. 

The study highlights key factors influencing students’ learning and clinical experiences, emphasizing the importance of supervision, cultural understanding, and organizational conditions in supporting high-quality clinical education in remote areas.
