Be the Change: Global Conversations on Student Mental Health
Join The Yellow Tulip Project and COIL@UArctic for an information session on 7 October 2026 and learn more about a new global initiative "Be the Change". While the information session takes place during Global Mental Health Awareness Week, the full "Be the Change: Global Conversations on Student Mental Health" programme will officially launch in January 2027.
On Wednesday, 7 October 2026, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM (UTC) / 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (EST), The Yellow Tulip Project (YTP) and COIL@UArctic will host an online information session introducing Be the Change: Global Conversations on Student Mental Health.
This innovative Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) initiative brings together students, educators, and community members across borders to explore some of the most pressing mental health issues facing campuses and communities.
The Be the Change COIL project will officially begin in January 2027 and will feature monthly discussions with subject experts and participants from across the Arctic and beyond. Planned themes include:
- Global Warming & Mental Health
- Global Workplaces & Mental Health
- Global Knowledge & Mental Health
